ALEX T. HANDLER

This year’s festivals are held in memory of Alex T. Handler who passed away July 5th 2007. Alex was a volunteer coordinator for Girl Fest Hawaii 2004 bringing several organizations together to offer women’s sports training and workshops our very first year and assisting in development of the festival. He was a great and generous man, scientist, feminist, and a great friend- always positive and ready to cheer up a situation. Our condolences go out to his family. A service will be held on July 18th on the North Shore of Oahu.
