Honolulu, HI 96817Pacific Roller Derby (PRD) is proud to host a mixed teams scrimmage in conjunction with GirlFest to represent the new wave of all-women’s flat track roller derby in Hawaii. PRD is skater owned and operated leagues, and we exist for the love of roller derby and the opportunity to empower women and provide positive images of female athletes within our communities. Hawaii’s derby girls are excited to skate together on one track in support of GirlFest and its mission to prevent violence against girls and women by giving the community a positive representation of strong women as we show our athleticism and dedication to roller derby on the flat track. Presented by Pacific Roller Derby.

The film challenges the media’s limited and often disparaging portrayals of women and girls, which make it difficult for women to achieve leadership positions and for the average woman to feel powerful herself.
